Panel Lectures: Long-Haul COVID

Long-haul COVID has become a very topical issue in rehabilitation. This panel discussion will feature various long-haul COVID topics, aimed to help clinicians face this challenging and poorly understood condition. First, Dr. Howard will discuss diversity, equity and inclusion in healthcare, typing it to the recent epidemiology of COVID. Dr. Smith will then provide an overview of the current data and role rehabilitation providers play in long-haul COVID. Megan Doyle, occupational therapist will then delve further into addressing functional cognition in long-haul COVID, with an emphasis on the role of occupational therapy. In the final panel session, Evidence in Motion’s lifestyle medicine program director Jen Uschold will discuss what the indicators for lifestyle medicine are and practical application of lifestyle medicine to long-haul COVID.
