Dr. Navidi is a licensed clinical psychologist and one of the founders of GI Psychology, a private practice focused on helping patients with GI disorders and chronic pain. Dr. Navidi oversees training and outreach at the practice. He is also one of the founders and past president of the Northern Virginia Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Navidi has given talks about GI disorders and chronic pain to organizations around the country such as UNC School of Medicine, George Mason University, Georgetown University, INOVA, various podcasts, television and Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Dr. Navidi’s work has been featured in the Washington Post and the practice has started a pilot program with Georgetown University Hospital to help patients with GI disorders. Recently, Dr. Navidi has joined the faculty of EIM as an expert in chronic pain and clinical hypnosis.
