Dr. Jennifer Welter, PT, DPT, PSF earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University in 2009. She went on to receive her Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification through Evidence in Motion and Purdue University followed by a Fellowship in Pain Sciences through Evidence in Motion. Dr. Welter currently serves as Rehabilitation Services Supervisor for Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville, California where her clinical practice includes pediatric pain management and practice leadership. Dr. Welter’s clinical interests include adapting and integrating the concepts of pain neuroscience into pediatric care and educating healthcare professionals and families about pediatric pain neuroscience. She is co-author of Ouch! Why Do I Hurt? A Children’s Workbook and Guide to Understanding Pain.
